Hand forged fire striker-belt buckle made from mild steel and high carbon tool steel У10А . High carbon tool steel У10А similar 1095 steel. All parts of fire striker are joined together by soldering.On the back side of buckle mark of blacksmith.Only front (working) part of buckle is quenched.Surface oxidized and lubricated with mixture of beeswax and linseed oil. All dimensions shown on photograph.Fire striker-buckle is designed for a belt width of 1 1⁄2 in (38 mm).
